Use the phone numbers and website links listed when planning additions or even when adding an electrical circuit or receptacle outlet to a home in any given Washington Metro Area municipality. Also, when buying a house, use these numbers and links for checking on whether or not plans were drawn up, permits were obtained and inspections by municipal code officials were performed on work already completed such as additions, swimming pools, outbuildings, decks, finished basements, new kitchens and the like.
